Briefly about Greek mythology
Greek mythology is a collection of mythological stories that include both legend and creation stories, mythological descriptions of older historical events, and pure fairy tale material.
According to Greek mythology, Chaos existed before anything else in our worldview. Chaos then constituted the universe, which consisted of emptiness and matter that had not yet taken shape. Then the earth, Gaia, arose from this space and shortly afterward the underworld, Tartarus.
The difference between Greek and Roman gods
Around the third century BC, the Greek and Roman gods were equated, and the Greek gods were given new Latin names. The early Romans considered the Greeks to be a little finer and they envied their mythology, history, and way of life.
Over time, this changed, even though it took several hundred years, and the Greeks were then considered primitive and uneducated. The Roman gods, however, are based almost entirely on the Greek ones, but they have been given new names.
Those who read about Greek gods’ names also read about popular Arabic names and Aesir names in Norse mythology.
